Missions
The Head of Distribution and Digital Payment Solutions is responsible for leading and managing the distribution and sales of Vodafone Vanuatu's products and services throughout Vanuatu, including digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services. This role is also responsible for developing and implementing new distribution and sales channels, and for building and maintaining relationships with key partners.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the growth of Vodafone Vanuatu’s business in Vanuatu.
Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to increase market share, new market expansion and distribution reach.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners, such as Master dealers, retailers, merchants, and other institutions, to ensure that Vodafone Vanuatu's products and services are widely available and accessible to everyone.
Manage and develop a team of distribution sales professionals to ensure that Vodafone Vanuatu's products and services are sold and marketed effectively.
Measure and track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement new and innovative distribution and sales channels.
Ensure that Vodafone Vanuatu's products and services are delivered to partners and end users in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
Develop and implement relevant processes and KPIs.
Assist with the commission mechanism between Vodafone Vanuatu and its distributors.
Monitor the distribution channel activity and identify any areas of concern.
Provide regular reports and analyses on the performance of the distribution network.
Set and monitor quantitative and qualitative sales targets.
Guarantee quality of service in line with the company's commitments.
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to provide support to distributors.
Ensure that distributors have all the necessary materials and incentives.
Motivate team members to achieve their goals.
Manage all Distribution outlets of Vodafone Vanuatu to ensure their meet the business standards and goals.
Responsibilities for Digital Money, Mobile Money, and Mobile Financial Services:
Develop and execute strategies to increase the adoption and use of digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services in Vanuatu.
Work with the product development team to develop new and innovative digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services products and services.
Partner with banks and other financial institutions to promote and distribute Vodafone Vanuatu's digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services products and services.
Educate and train customers on how to use Vodafone Vanuatu's digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services products and services.
Monitor and track the performance of Vodafone Vanuatu's digital money, mobile money, and mobile financial services products and services, and make recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate and manage the Mobile Money team.
Work with other teams to ensure smooth business transactions.
Monitor the performance of the Mobile Money project and make necessary adjustments.
Develop and motivate Digital payment team of the digital product and services.
Desired Skills and Experience
Competences:
1. Knowledge & Qualifications
• Business school or university master diploma in business/marketing or equivalent
• At least ten years of successful, direct experience in B2C sales and B2B within Telecom Industry
• Technology knowledge on Radio and fixe technologies

• Experience in fixed and mobile telecommunications services environment
• Experience in managing teams and conflict resolution
• Experience in client services
• Experience in report skills
• Excellent oral and written skills in English and Bislama. French is preferable
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license
